A visual diary of my Seoul trip during winter, my first meeting with Korea and Korean culture. I captured not only the places I visited, but the feelings and memories left behind. This photobook is inspired by the Korean word 여운 —— the lingering feeling or emotional echo left by an experience. Through moments of stillness, discovery, warmth and friendship, I wanted to capture not simply the places I visited, but what Seoul left behind in me after I returned home.
