At the end again.
I haven't actually taken a look at this contest since the winners were chosen until now. This is my fourth I think time participating in this contest. I think in learnt and grew every year so I'm grateful for that. I'm happy to be able to see everyone's work and see everyone love and appreciation for this culture. I want to say congrats to the winners. As for the issues that have arised. I'm not going to tell anyone not to be upset or let their voice be heard. Everyone is entitled to thier feelings and opinions as long as it doesn't cross a line I think. Considering that it seems to be causing significant issues to do hope the organisers address it so that participants can have confidance in the contest going forward.
My wish for next year is a bit if a change up in the contest. We've…
@Luna Rosario @Everyone I appreciate the kind words about the contest and organizers.
But I’m curious, if you truly believe “many of us poured our hearts into our work” why doesn’t it bother you that some rules weren’t applied consistently this year?
How can artists feel confident joining next year if fairness isn’t guaranteed?
As someone who was targeted in previous posts, thank you for trying to protect me, but I didn’t join for the prize, as an artist and fan of Korean culture, what matters most to me is fairness and proper evaluation. Fairness and transparency isn’t about bitterness, it’s about respect for everyone’s effort.
