Soul met Seoul
Slogan
Soul met Seoul
project intent
Before writing these words, I was organizing my university notes—notes from the field I chose because of my love for Korean food.
In 2016, I discovered Korea through Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. What started with one drama grew into a deeper love as I discovered Korean stories, food, music, and traditions.
My interest in Korean food became part of my future and inspired a dream of connecting two food cultures.
Back then, I thought holding chopsticks was the hardest thing. Later, I realized that not seeing a country that had felt familiar for ten years was much harder.
For a decade, Seoul has lived somewhere between a dream and a destination.
In 2016, my soul met Seoul through a drama and an eclipse. Ten years later, as another eclipse crosses the sky, I wonder:
Will Soul Met Seoul become more than a dream?
