project intent

My first K-culture moment kind of began with this Korean slice-of-life drama I watched during a period in my life. I kind of expected entertainment, but instead i found this quiet kind of care, you know, shown through food, silence, small gestures, and just being there. The story made me realize that feelings can go further than subtitles and cross cultural lines too. Honestly that whole moment pushed me to explore Korean food, start learning Hangul, listen to Korean music, and get curious about day to day Korean life. My project tries to capture that shift: how this far away culture slipped into my routine and gave me comfort when i needed it most, and also how empathy can turn into a bridge between worlds.
