Hello, I’m Carolina from Mexico, a Graphic Designer who also aspires to be an artist. For a long time, Korean culture has been a great source of inspiration and fascination for me.
In this digital illustration titled "The Peace of Balance" I aim to convey my admiration for South Korea through a depiction of its flag, which is rich in symbolism and deep meanings such as: light and heat, darkness and cold, the sky, water, fire, and earth, all enveloped in the peace emanating from archery, a discipline that embodies the country’s historical legacy.
Additionally, I have included the tiger, an emblematic spiritual protector that is also part of Korean folklore, along with the beautiful Mugunghwa flowers. My goal is to capture the richness and diversity of Korean culture, celebrating its history, spirituality, and natural beauty.
