“Hello, my name is Mehra Azam , and I’m from Pakistan. I’m excited to participate in the Talk Talk Korea competition in the crafting category.
“For this competition, I’ve created a detailed model of Gyeongbokgung Palace using beads. Gyeongbokgung is one of Korea’s most iconic palaces, rich in history and culture. I wanted to showcase its beauty and significance through a unique and creative medium.”
“I chose Gyeongbokgung Palace because it represents the heart of Korean history and tradition. The intricate architecture and cultural importance of the palace motivated me to depict it in a way that honours its beauty. Beads allowed me to capture the palace’s colourful and detailed features in a way that reflects its grandeur.”

“My model is made entirely of small beads, each representing a different part of the palace’s architecture. I used a range of colours to match the original colours of the palace, and I focused on details such as the gates, pavilions, and courtyards. It took me 8 days to complete this model, and I carefully studied the palace’s layout to ensure accuracy.”
“I hope this model of Gyeongbokgung Palace captures the essence of Korea’s rich heritage and inspires others to appreciate its beauty. Thank you for this opportunity to share my work, and I hope you enjoy it.”
