painting BTS music / album D-Day from Suga of BTS

Here's how it happened: in 2023, I became obsessed with SUGA's 'D-Day' album. I'm the kind of artist who always paints with music, so I decided to try something different - I'd only listen to this album while working. 39 plays later, this massive painting (140x100cm!) emerged.
I started with just a horse's head (horses are my thing), but then I suddenly realized - the lyrics needed to be part of the painting too! So I wove Korean, English and Russian lyrics into the canvas. It became like... a visual representation of the music. If you look at it while listening to the album, it's like the words come alive.
Interesting fact is that my friend Olga Babenko's photograph was the reference for the horse - but the rest just came from the music. That's the magic of Agust D's work, you know?
Here is my mini-film about picture “D-Day” https://youtu.be/HGWluAXQDds?si=DXjBzC4sElomD0Ix I hope you will like it 🫶🏻
In March 2025, “D-Day” traveled to South Korea for the Min Yoongi International Exhibition 이별 대신 만남 at Bongsan Cultural Center (organized by K-R Community). Alongside it, I displayed "First Love" (inspired by BTS’s “Wings” album) and later created a piece for RM’s INDIGO”.
My big dream now is to create paintings for all the BTS solo albums and maybe, just maybe, have the members see them one day.

Omg es arte ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
