The Journey of Taegukgi (80th Liberation day)

I’m passionate about history, so the 80th anniversary of liberation really stood out to me as a topic. While learning about the Taegukgi, I was moved by how much meaning the flag holds, not just as a national symbol, but as a sign of resistance and hope. I got inspired to create this animation and share its story. The main idea of the animation was to show how the flag has been there through the Japanese occupation, through all the hardships until 1945, when it could finally be flown freely again in front of Gyeongbokgung Palace.
