Crafting a Book to Hold Your Korean-Inspired Memories
Hi! I’m Teresa from Mexico, and I created this book entirely by hand, using a traditional bookbinding technique to give physical form to my travel memories. Every detail was chosen with great care — from the paper, covers, and thread, to the decorative elements inspired by Korean culture. The book features hanbok origami, pressed cherry blossoms, and a handmade norigae as a final touch. More than a book, this project is a piece of craftsmanship — a union of materials, emotions, and memories in a single work. Every step — cutting, sewing, gluing, decorating — was done with love and dedication.
